Gaonkar followed this up with Anoop Jalota’s very popular, “Aisi Laagi Lagan” which struck an immediate chord with the audience.

Gaonkar’s rendition of the very popular, Marathi  natyageet, “Gehi Chanda Makaranda” was also very warmly received.

The two singers were ably supported by Dattaraj Shetye (tabla), Vishnu Shirodkar (keyboards), Rohit Wankar (flute), Subhash Fatarpekar (harmonium), Kishor Teli (pakhawaj) and Yogesh Raikar (side rhythm).
