Sree Sreenivasan, US-based social media expert, will speak at the International Centre Goa (ICG) on Wednesday (December 20), between 10.30 am and 12 noon on the topic- ‘Social and Digital Media Trends 2024 – What’s to Know, what to skip’. The event will take place at the Mandovi hall of the ICG and is free and open to the public.
Sreenivasan is a New York-based expert in digital communications and is CEO and co-founder of Digimentors, a digital, social, events and training consultancy. He has served as chief digital officer of New York City, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Columbia University, where he was a full-time professor of journalism for over 20 years.
Sreenivasan has served on the board of Nobel Prize Foundation Outreach since 2022 and in 1994, he co-founded SAJA, the South Asian Journalists Association. He has also taught a course on entrepreneurship at Columbia University with Ken Lerer, the co-founder of Huffington Post. In 2004, Newsweek named him one of the 20 most influential “young South Asians in America”, along with Kamala Harris, M. Night Shyamalan and Norah Jones.
