FDA HOLDS FOOD SAFETY TRAINING & CERTIFICATION & NUTRITION PROGRAMME FOR TRADITIONAL GOAN BAKERS

Director of Food and Drugs Administration department, Shweta Dessai highlighted the importance of bread for Goans, while also pointing out its diminishing identity. She was speaking after inaugurating Food Safety Training and Certification and Nutrition programme for traditional Goan bakers and other bakers across Goa.

The programme was organised by the Directorate of Food and Drugs Administration in collaboration with Chef Rodwin at Bambolim.

The Director also emphasised on the importance of the need for FoSTaC trainings towards ensuring safety and hygiene in the bakery sector.
