KK George of Vijayawada and Deepika Rana of Mumbai were the fastest in the grueling 10km sea swim race on day one of the three-day, miniOrange AquaMoga 2025 at Miramar beach on Friday. Likewise, Bijen Laikhuram from the Indian Army and Justine Mellocastro of Mumbai were the fastest in the 5km race.
George swam the distance in 2:42:18 hrs to stand first, while Deepika finished her race in 3:53 hrs. Notably, Omvir Singh, Inspector general of police, Goa state also finished his 5km sea race in a commendable 2:49 hrs.

Bijen, an armyman clocked an impressive 1:26 hours, while Justine, a former national swimming champion clocked an equally impressive 1:32 hours in the 5km sea race. Veteran Zarir Baliwalla of Mumbai finished his 5km race in an impressive 1:46 hrs.
Four specially-abled swimmers from the Yadhavi Sports Academy of Chennai, also completed their 5km race.
