Indian actor Sonali Kulkarni, known for her impactful performances and strong advocacy for women’s empowerment, graced the International Women’s Day celebrations recently at Porvorim.
The Marathi film star, who was the chief guest, delivered a powerful speech highlighting the strength, resilience, and aspirations of women.
“Women are unstoppable forces of strength and grace. When given the right opportunities, they shine in every role—whether as leaders, mothers, professionals, or artists. It’s time we celebrate their achievements and continue creating a world where every woman’s dreams turn into reality,” said Sonali.
Tourism Minister and Porvorim MLA, Rohan A. Khaunte, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to women’s empowerment and inclusive development. “Goa has always been at the forefront of progressive change, and empowering women is at the heart of our vision for a stronger, more resilient state. Through education, opportunities, and support, we must ensure that every woman has the platform to excel.”
