The Goa Technology Association (GTA) has welcomed the introduction of the Goa Transport Aggregator Guidelines 2025 as a timely and necessary reform that aligns governance with digital innovation.
GTA in a press statement said: “For a state positioning itself as a hub for technology, ESDM, BPOs, and IoT enterprises, efficient and reliable mobility is not just a convenience—it is a prerequisite for business continuity and growth.
“App-based taxi services, when backed by a transparent and fair regulatory framework, can significantly improve the day-to-day mobility of tech professionals, facilitate client movement, and enhance the overall investor experience in Goa. The guidelines offer a well-structured solution that protects driver earnings, ensures service reliability, and promotes inclusive practices—all of which are essential to building a modern, digital-first ecosystem.
“GTA sees this move as part of a broader vision for a digitally empowered Goa. We believe that such reforms will contribute meaningfully to making Goa a destination not only for tourists, but also for companies and talent building the future of India. We extend our support to the Government of Goa in implementing these guidelines and urge stakeholders to work together in realising their full potential.”
