Goa’s creative community will gather for the 14th edition of ‘First Fridays’ on July 4, (today) from 5 to 7 PM at the GCCI, Surendrababu Timblo Convention Hall, Panaji.
This month’s session will spotlight the Draft Goa Design Policy, inviting designers, artists, technologists, educators, and entrepreneurs to engage in open dialogue around shaping the future of Goa’s creative economy.
Organised by the Creative Community of Goa (CCG) in collaboration with the Association of Designers of India (ADI) – Goa Chapter, and supported by the Startup & IT Promotion Cell (SITPC), Department of Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, Government of Goa, the event continues the participatory approach initiated in June’s edition.
Last month’s session surfaced key recommendations on linking Goa’s design ecosystem with education, local industries, and grassroots innovation. This follow-up aims to refine those ideas, drive collaboration, and strengthen Goa’s position as India’s emerging Creative Capital.
First Fridays has grown into a dynamic platform for creative professionals to explore the intersection of design, technology, policy, and purpose. This month’s edition is expected to bring together a wide spectrum of voices to help co-create a forward-looking, inclusive policy framework.
