St. Joseph Vaz College, Cortalim, Goa, in association with DELNET, New Delhi, organised a National Webinar on the topic “DELNET: Resources and Services” on Saturday, July 5, 2025. The session was conducted online and saw enthusiastic participation from over 330 students, library professionals, and faculty members from various parts of the country.
The webinar began with a welcome address byManali Acharya, College Librarian, who greeted all the attendees and thanked DELNET and the resource person Ranjana, Senior Network Assistant at DELNET, New Delhi; for collaborating in this informative initiative.
Ranjana delivered an engaging session explaining the various resources and services offered by DELNET. She covered key features such as access to e-books, journals, union catalogues, databases, and inter-library loan services. She also guided the participants on how to use DELNET effectively to support academic and research needs.
The session aimed at promoting awareness about digital resource-sharing and enhancing access to scholarly materials among academic institutions.
The participants found the session highly useful and appreciated the opportunity to learn more about DELNET’s offerings.
The college administration expressed gratitude to DELNET for their continued support in empowering the academic community with quality resources. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A where participants clarified their doubts.
