Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant inaugurated ‘Goa Career Navigator 2025’ – an initiative to empower the students with informed career choices and future-ready skills, at Kala Academy, Panaji, on Friday.

The first-of-its-kind programme by GSCERT and UNOCUE is conceptualised as a transformative approach into AI-powered career guidance, psychometric testing, and expert mentorship to over 18,000 students across all 12 talukas of Goa. The first round of career counselling was held for the students of Tiswadi taluka.

Goa Career Navigator initiative, alongside the Career UDAAN – a scalable career awareness drive for HSSC students, Career Compass Handbook – India’s first comprehensive guide for students, teachers & parents, and Career Ambassador Clubs – creating student leaders in every Higher Secondary School; provides a wonderful ecosystem for students to grow from strength to strength in their quest for future-ready career.

“The initiative reflects our commitment to the vision of Skill India, Yuva Shakti, and a Viksit Goa @2037. Together, let’s build an aspirational, skilled and confident generation,” remarked Dr Sawant.

Director Education, Shailesh Zingde, Director, Directorate of Higher Education, Bhushan Savoikar, Director, GSCERT, Meghana Shetgaonkar, Director of Technical Education, Vivek Kamat, UNOCUE, Pro Edutech LLP, Dhaval Gandhi were present on the occasion.
