Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant participated in a live online interaction on the ‘Mhaje Ghar Yojana’, with Panchayats and Municipalities on Saturday.
A special presentation was made explaining in detail the new Bills, Government Orders, and Circulars issued under various initiatives to secure Goan homes.
The forms to avail services under the Majhe Ghar Yojana will be available from 15th September with Deputy Collectors, Mamledars & Panchayats.
“These initiatives reflects our commitment to the people of Goa in ensuring housing security and welfare for every Goan family,” emphasised the Chief Minister.
Highlights of ‘Mhaje Ghar Yojana’:
•Under the Majhe Ghar Yojana, houses built before 1972 can now get official recognition:
– Certified by the Deputy Collector in just 7 days
– Panchayat NOC within the next 7 days
– No complicated paperwork or endless procedures
•House Repairs Made Easy:
– Quick approvals for urgent repairs
– Auto-approved if no response in 15 days
– No title change or structural hassles
•Regularisation of Homes on Communidade Lands:
-Houses built before 28 Feb 2014 can be regularised
– Covers built-up area + 2m, up to 300 sq.m
– For landless, long-term Goan residents
– No more uncertainty — your home gets legal recognition.
