Kerala opener Rohan Kunnummal stroked a classy unbeaten century as the visitors pursued Goa’s first innings total of 355 with positive cricket on the second day of Ranji Trophy Elite Group match at Porvorim on Friday.
Rohan, who was 132 not out on 154 balls at the close of play, struck 13 boundaries and 5 sixes on the day with Kerala total reading 237/2 – still 118 runs behind Goa.
Earlier, Goa wicket-keeper Samar Dubhashi played a crucial knock of 55 not out to enable the hosts cross the 350-run mark. He hit 4 boundaries in his 109-ball vigil at the crease as Goa’s tail wagged. The last-wicket partnership realised 51 runs with Koushik V scoring 21 runs. Ankit Sharma (6/115) was the top wicket-taker for Kerala.
