Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant chaired a review meeting on the supply of LPG and LNG in the presence of the Chief Secretary, Secretary (Civil Supplies) and representatives of HPCL, IOCL and BPCL at Mantralaya, Porvorim.
The Chief Minister assured all “Goemkars’ that the supply of domestic cooking gas remains stable and adequate as per the directive issued by the Union Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas and every registered consumer will receive their gas cylinder within the stipulated time after booking.
Dr Sawant urged all household and domestic consumers to remain patient. There is no need to panic or queue up outside gas agencies. The Government of India and the Government of Goa are closely monitoring the situation and remain committed to ensuring a timely, smooth and uninterrupted supply of LPG to every household.
