GOA’S ERICA DE SEQUEIRA CLINCHES HISTORIC 1ST MMA INDIA YOUTH NATIONAL TITLE

In a historic feat,  young athlete Erica De Sequeira became Goa’s first-ever MMA India Youth National Champion, marking a significant milestone in Goa’s growing combat sports landscape.

Representing Goa and competing under the aegis of MMA India, the national governing body for amateur mixed martial arts in India and the national federation affiliated with the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF), Erica delivered an impressive performance at the national championship to secure the coveted youth national title.

Training under Coach Ronnyy (Raunak Singh) at the Academy of Combat Sports Goa (ACS-Goa); Erica showcased skill, determination, and composure throughout the championship. She began her campaign with a unanimous decision victory, followed by a TKO win in her second bout, before finishing the tournament with another unanimous decision victory to claim the national championship.

The historic achievement is a proud moment for the Academy of Combat Sports Goa, which continues to focus on developing talented athletes and creating opportunities for Goan martial artists to compete at national and international levels.

Under the guidance of Coach Ronnyy, Erica has steadily developed her skills across multiple combat sports disciplines, combining disciplined training with technical ability and competitive experience. Her latest achievement further establishes her as one of Goa’s promising young athletes in the field of mixed martial arts.
