PANAJI: Goa beat Chandigarh by 7 wickets in the 4th Indusind Bank Nagesh Trophy Blind Cricket Tournament in New Delhi on Friday.
Chandigarh won the toss and chose to bat. They posted a total of 115/8. Nilesh Mirgal was the pick of the bowlers with 4/12, Deeprag Tari took 2 wickets, while Taj Mohmmad claimed 1.
Goa romped home 116/3 in 12.2 overs. Nilesh delivered a superb all-round show as he followed his bowling effort with a 33-ball 53. Ashutosh Mawaskar scored 37 runs off 19 balls. Goa’s Nilesh Mirgal was named Man-of-the Match.
