PANAJI: The popular American Hip-Hop Group, ‘The Invisibles’ will be conducting two workshops and one performance in Goa on April 28 and 29. Both events are free and open for the public. ‘The Invisibles’ unveiled its musical tour schedule to India, an initiative presented by the US Government, including the US Consulate General in Mumbai, in association with the American Voices, and produced by Teamwork Arts. The performance is scheduled for 28th April at Rudy’s Vagator at 7.30pm.
A media release issued in Panaji, stated that the extraordinary musical ensemble looks forward to their workshop followed by a live show in Goa on April 28. The tour aims to explore the diversity of Hip-Hop through this collaborative endeavour featuring internationally acclaimed artists, namely Carl “DJ Invisible” Hollier, Richie “Robot” Steighner, Miz Korona, Hans Pierre and Khary Kimani Turner, and intends to engage the youth & up and coming talent creatively through the genre in order to promote cultural harmony and diversity, tolerance and inclusiveness.
This musical extravaganza, ‘Bridging Cultures Through Hip-Hop’, aims to share the positive messages of hip-hop, diversity, and self-expression, and facilitate transcending the social, cultural, and racial values in favour of inclusion.
All the appropriate COVID-19 protocols will be followed in order to provide a safe and sound environment for all its attendees. Both workshops and performances are open to audiences over 16 years, says a press release.
