Goa University has been accredited with an A+ Grade and a CGPA of 3.30. by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in its recent accreditation cycle.

This achievement marks a significant leap from the previous B++ Grade and is the highest-ever grade in the history of Goa University.

Goa University had recently been conferred with Best National University Award at Geospatial Awards 2025, IIT, Mumbai.

Prof. Ramrao Wagh was presented with National Geospatial Emerging Faculty Fellow Award 2025 (Interdisciplinary Category – Jury).
