AFTER ROBOTICS CHAVATH, GOA’S YOUNG INNOVATORS SHINE AT ROBO NARKASUR CHALLENGE 2025!

In a unique celebration of Goa’s tradition fused with technology, Qurious Mind Infotainment Pvt. Ltd. hosted the Robo Narkasur Challenge 2025 at the Goa Science Centre, Miramar.

The event showcased the ingenuity of young Goan students, who designed and built robotic versions of the traditional Narkasur using Qurious Mind’s Spark Robotics Kit. Each model reflected creativity, teamwork, and innovation — bringing the festive spirit of Diwali to life through science and engineering.

Participants were evaluated on Creativity of Design, Working Mechanism, Team Coordination & Presentation, and Innovation & Storytelling by a distinguished panel of judges comprising Anay Kamat, Lead Consultant, Equal Experts, and Jateen Shirodkar, Principal, RIT College, Shiroda.

The event was seamlessly coordinated by Parshuram Toraskar and Kalpak Nayak, whose efforts ensured a memorable experience for every participant.

The 1st prize (Champion Team) was awarded to Shwet Karpe and Shriram Lotlikar from Sankhali.  The 2nd prize went to Atharv Prabhu Parrikar from Mapusa; while, Ashwin Shirodkar and Aryan Shirodkar from Curchorem bagged the third prize.

Subhash Shirodkar, Minister for Water Resources and Cooperation, was the Chief Guest at the prize distribution function.

In his address, the WRD Minister lauded the efforts of Qurious Mind and said: “Robo Narkasur Challenge is a truly Goan innovation — blending our rich cultural heritage with modern technology. Such initiatives spark curiosity and creativity among children, preparing them to become the innovators of tomorrow.”

Yogesh Kerkar, Managing Director of Qurious Mind Infotainment Pvt. Ltd., added: “This event is a testament to what young minds can achieve when given the right tools and encouragement.
