Colvale bagged the prize for Clean Panchayat from North Goa while Curti-Khandepar Panchayat won the prize for South Goa, as part of ‘Swachhata Hi Sewa’ campaign. The Sampoorna Swachhata award 2024 was awarded to Chicalim Panchayat.
Minister for Panchayat, Mauvin Godinho attended the Closing Ceremony of the campaign organised by Directorate of Panchayats at Mapusa. On the occasion, sanitation workers from various talukas were also felicitated.
The Best BDO prize was awarded to Omkar N Manjrekar from Bicholim.
Mapusa MLA, Joshua De Souza, Chairperson of Mapusa Muncipal Council, Dr Nutan Bicholkar, Deputy Director of Panchayats, (Admin), Krishnakant Pangam were also present on the occasion.
