Bhatikar Model High School emerged champions in boys category, while Sharada Mandir clinched the girls title at Vishnu Sinai Dempo memorial All-Goa Inter-School Invitational Table Tennis Tournament organised by Yogish Vishnu Dempo in association with Panaji Morning Stars Sports Club at TT hall of Indoor Stadium, Campal on Sunday.
The tournament was organised especially for students studying in Std 10th and below. Each team comprised minimum 3 players and maximum 4 players. Separate team events were held for boys and girls. A total of 16 schools took part, including 22 boys teams and 8 girls teams. In all, 112 students participated.
Teams were grouped based on number of team entries received. All group matches were played on league basis. Top teams from groups qualified for knock-out stage. Anil Counto was the chief guest for the tournament.

Sharada Mandir A beat St Mary’s Convent High School A 2-1
Final – Sharada Mandir A beat Sharada Mandir B 2-1.
