Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant has highlighted the initiative of Career UDAAN as an annual platform to uplift, guide, and empower Goa’s youth; with the aim of moulding a skilled generation ready to shoulder the goal of Viksit Bharat 2047 and Viksit Goa 2037.
The Chief Minister launched Career UDAAN – Empowering Youth for a Brighter Tomorrow, a transformative initiative by the Goa State Higher Education Council, focussed on guiding HSSC students as they take crucial steps toward their future.
Alongside Career UDAAN, Dr Sawant also underlined the significance of ‘Career Compass Handbook’, said to be a first of its kind in the country.
Distributed to schools and libraries across Goa, the Career Compass Handbook serves as a comprehensive career guide for students, parents, and educators to navigate emerging fields and opportunities.
Career UDAAN is said to be the beginning of the uplifting initiative, and there are plans to scale up the platform. “Together, let’s build a confident, skilled generation ready to soar to realize the visions of Viksit Bharat 2047 and Viksit Goa 2037,” remarked the Chief Minister.

Meanwhile, Dr. Sawant inaugurated and flagged off School buses funded by the North Goa District Mineral Foundation (Trust); at Ravindra Bhavan, Sankhali. The Chief Minister also distributed sports equipments to students under Tribal Sub-Plan.

Bicholim MLA, Dr. Chandrakant Shetye Collector North, Ankit Yadav, IAS, Director Education, Shailesh Zingde, Chairperson of the Sankhali Municipal Council, Siddhi Porob were also present.
