Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant has emphasised on the infrastructure creation drive by the government, whereby youth will get support to embark on their choicest career paths.
Addressing the gathering at the 99th Annual Day function of the Damodar Vidyalaya in Loliem-Canacona, Dr Sawant stated that the Vision document for Goa will accommodate the avenues from Dairy industry to Film city, as skilling centres of all kinds are an essential part of the Swayampurna Goa 2.0 campaign across all parts of the State. He also hailed teachers of Damodar Vidyalaya for producing quality results and inculcating values in the students with impactful teaching.
Goa Legislative Assembly Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar, Social Welfare Minister Subhash Shirodkar, dignitaries from Education sector were present among others.
The Chief Minister felicitated the family members of people who contributed for the foundation of the school. “The school has been nurturing the students for generations together, and shall continue to do so. I congratulate the school, teachers, parents and students for successfully operating and entering in the centenary year. I wish all the best for a bright future ahead,” said Dr Sawant.
