Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) & Goa State of Higher Education Council (GSHEC) signed a MoU with Satkaam Foundation during the Teachers Awards Day at Raj Bhavan hall in the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant.
Prasad Lolayekar, IAS and Abhijit Bhide were the signatories of the MoU. Director of Education – Shailesh Zingade, Director of SCERT – Dr. Shambhu Ghadi and Professor of Goa State Higher Education Council, Dr. Niyan Marchon were also present.
The objectives of the MoU is focused on enhancing the educational experience of college students by providing them with supplementary courses and valuable skills.The MoU also aims to offer courses that complement the standard curriculum followed by college students, focus on key concepts with case studies, project-based learning, professional and soft skills, symbiotic collaboration with industry thus bridge the employability gap.
In summary, the MoU aims to enrich the educational experience of college students by offering them a well-rounded education that includes both academic knowledge and practical skills. It also seeks to foster strong connections between educational institutions and industry professionals to better prepare students for their future careers, stated a press release.
