Dhempe College of Arts and Science, Miramar, and Agnel Institute of Technology and Design, Assagao, won the men’s and women’s title respectively at Goa University’s Inter-Collegiate Swimming Championship 2023-24. The competition was conducted at S.A.G. Swimming Pool, Campal, Panaji. A total of 10 events were held.
The Best Swimmer (man) award was presented to Aryan Sharma of Dhempe College. Over in the women category, Tanisha Murgod of St. Xavier’s College, Mapusa, emerged the best.
Sumit Mohan Rajeshwari, High Performance Director, Khelo India State Centre of Excellence, Goa, along with Balachandra Jadar, Asst. Director of Physical Education and Sports, Goa University, graced the occasion and presented trophies.
