Goa’s first Embryology Training and Research Centre was inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant at Panelim, Old Goa on Thursday. Renowned IVF expert Dr. Kedar Padte was also present.

The centre is equipped with modern laboratories and a globally aligned curriculum. “This centre will enable students to receive world-class ART (Assisted Reproductive Technology) education right here in Goa, while bringing renewed hope to countless families,” emphasised Dr Sawant.

The Chief Minister described the new development as a “significant milestone in advancing medical education and reproductive healthcare in the state.”

Dr Sawant congratulated Dr. Chandan Salunke and Shravani Parker for their vision and execution of this pioneering initiative.

“This achievement aligns with the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is driving a transformative shift in India’s healthcare sector-focused on accessibility, affordability, and quality for all,” hailed Dr Sawant.
