Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated EuroStampa’s first manufacturing plant in Asia, right here in Verna, South Goa on Thursday.
Specialising in creating innovative product labeling solutions, Eurostampa comes to Asia with world class reputation of being the leading manufacturer of premium quality labels for the wine, spirits, chocolate, food and cosmetics industries.
Founded in 1966 in Bene Vagienna, Italy by Luciano Cillario; Eurostampa has a presence in Italy, France, USA, Scotland, Mexico, and now in India.
“EuroStampa’s choice of Goa over many other Asian locations is a proud endorsement of our policies, talent, and vision for a resilient and diversified industrial future. This facility stands tall as a shining example of the ‘Make in India’ and ‘Make in Goa’ missions – executed impressively in just 18 months. I’m especially heartened to see initiatives like EuroStampa’s partnership with Don Bosco College of Engineering, paving the way for global careers for our youth through local opportunities,” remarked the Chief Minister.
Dr Sawant also asserted that his government has been welcoming the global investment with the New Industrial Policy, Logistics & Warehousing Policy, rapid infrastructure development, & continuously strengthening Ease of Doing Business.
Industries Minister Mauvin Godinho, Consul General of Italy in Mumbai Walter Ferrara, Founder & President of EuroStampa Luciano Cillario, GIDC Chairman & MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco, also graced the occasion.
