In a Finance Review meeting, Chief Minister, Dr Pramod Sawant has directed the officials to clear dues under various schemes, namely- DSSY, Ladli Laxmi, Gruh Aadhar, Kalakar Support Scheme & Social Welfare Schemes.
The Chief Minister also instructed the officials to expedite implementation of Aadhar-based Payment Systems to enhance transparency.
Chief Secretary, Secretaries, Collectors North & South Goa District and HODs were also present for the Finance Review meeting.
Amongst the discussions that took place, were:
• Review of Budget Utilization of FY 24-25 and action plan for clearing pendencies in the last month of Financial Year.
• Review of implementation of Centrally Sponsored Schemes and new Central schemes which can be implemented in the State.
• Preparation of State Budget 25-26.
• Expeditious disposal of various pending cases in both the Collectorates.
• Review of various online services and onboarding of new services in online mode.
The deliberations focussed on:
• Green Budget, Waste Management.
• Focus on strengthening infrastructure for Tourism.
• Strengthening Time Bound online services & development of the State.
In a social media post, the Chief Minister stated that the government shall consider the suggestions, inputs shared by the people and present a budget to ensure long-term development of the state.
