The Founders’ Club, an exclusive gathering of startup founders, entrepreneurs, and professionals designed by stakeholders in the startup ecosystem; convened its second episode on September 8th at the International Centre Goa, Dona Paula.
The event featured a distinguished panel of industry and academic experts who delved into the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI) within the startup ecosystem. Moderated by Milind Prabhu, a seasoned professional from Genora Infotech Pvt. Ltd., the panel included Prof. Vinayak Naik, Professor of Computer Science at BITS Pilani, Goa; Shrikrishna Parab, IT Committee Member at the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI); Prof. Gaurang Patkar, Head of the Department of Computer Engineering at Don Bosco College of Engineering; and Prof. Snehanshu Saha, Founder of Happy Monk and Professor at BITS Pilani Goa Campus.
The event commenced with incubators, co-working spaces, and venture builders showcasing their offerings and success stories, shedding light on their vision and aspirations. The attendees, comprising startups, IT professionals, IT associations, industrialists, and students, engaged actively with the panelists, exploring the evolving role of AI in startups.
Beyond the event’s theme, it served as a catalyst for founders to foster meaningful collaborations, evident in the lively interactions and partnerships forged during the event.
The Founders’ Club has set a monthly rendezvous on the first Friday of each month, eagerly anticipated by the startup community as a must-attend event, stated a press release issued by the Startup & IT Promotion Cell, Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications (Government of Goa).
