Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant has welcomed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Goa Energy Development Agency (GEDA) and Mormugao Port Authority, Vasco.
The agreement binds on the execution of 3MWp Ground Mounted Solar Power Plant.
“I appreciate Mormugao Port Authority (MPT) for taking the initiative to increase their utilization of solar power to 100%, achieved through the installation of 240 kWp Rooftop Grid Connected Solar Power Plant and 3MWp Ground Mounted Solar Power Plant.
“I am certain that all the stakeholders at MPT will endorse solar installations, supporting the Government’s vision of achieving Net Zero by 2050, envisaged by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji,” posted the Chief Minister on X after gracing the occasion on Wednesday. Dr. N. Vinodkumar IPoS, Chairperson of MPA, Dy-Chairperson were also present.
