PANAJI: Futebol Club Youth Futsal Academy and Sirvodem Sports Club PSA Dubai recorded wins in their respective matches in the Goa Football Association Vedanta Women’s League on Monday.
While YFA defeated Compassion FC 1-0 at Dramapur ground, Sirvodem SC scored a 2-0 win over United Club of Telaulim, at Navelim ground.
At Dramapur, Jolinda Ferrao scored the lone goal of the game in the 25th minute to seal full points for her side against a struggling Compassion FC, who are yet to register a single point in the campaign.
Meanwhile, Sirvodem SC continued their unbeaten run in the competition, as the side is yet to suffer a defeat in the state women’s league football, ending Telaulim’s dream run in the competition.
Sirvodem scored both the goals in the dying minutes of the game. Nevilla Colaco scored in the 86th minute and Vinoshka Fernandes ensured full points in the 90th minute by scoring the second goal of the game.
Nevilla Colaco was named the player of the match and the award was presented by Milagres Tereza, a former international referee.
