Giants Group of Porvorim has been an epitome of helpfulness throughout its inception 20 years ago. Approaching Goa’s biggest festival – Ganesh Chaturthi also known as Chavath, the voluntary social organisation continued its support to the needy family of Shivanand Naik.
Britona-based Naik, who suffered serious injuries in an accident some years ago, has been bedridden; but with children and wife to take care of and Chavath coming up, he gets hope from Giants Group of Porvorim contributing groceries and some cash amount annually.
Naik’s wife thanked the Giants Group of Porvorim for supporting them. Her son was very happy and the joy on his face personified positivity and hope. It also underlined the significance of an act of kindness that binds the society together regardless of the adversities we may face!
