GOA AUTO SHOW 2025: ‘GOA COMMITTED TO FOSTER INNOVATION, TECHNOLOGY & SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORT SOLUTIONS’

Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant inaugurated the 3-day Goa Auto Show 2025 at Kala Academy, Darya Sangam in Panaji on Friday. The event unites automobile brands, tech innovators, enthusiasts, financial institutions and policy-makers on one dynamic platform.

Mauvin Godinho, Minister for Industries & Transport, Joshua De Souza, Deputy Speaker, Goa Legislative Assembly & MLA, Mapusa, and P. Pravimal Abhishek, IAS, M.D., GIDC and Director of Transport, were also present.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Sawant stated, “This exhibition underscores Goa’s commitment to fostering innovation, technology, and sustainable transport solutions. The wide range of vehicles, including electric and high-performance models, demonstrates the dynamic growth of the automotive sector. We are proud to support initiatives that bring together enthusiasts, industry leaders, and innovators to explore new possibilities and drive progress in the state.”

“The Goa Auto Show is a remarkable platform where innovation and passion for automobiles come together. It not only celebrates the diversity of vehicles available today but also highlights Goa’s emerging role as a destination for automotive excellence. Such events inspire young talent and encourage industry professionals to showcase their best work,” added Godinho.

Post the inauguration, the show floor opened with a display of over 50+ vehicles from more than 20 brands, reflecting the breadth of India’s evolving auto industry. Key highlights included the Goa debuts of Maruti Suzuki Victoris and Lexus RX350-h, which drew immediate crowds.

Mahindra made a strong statement with its powerful lineup of SUVs and electric mobility solutions, while Toyota, Skoda, MG, Volkswagen, and Hero showcased their latest vehicles spanning luxury, efficiency, and cutting-edge technology.

Two-wheeler fans were thrilled to see the robust lineup from Suzuki Bikes, offering sporty performance and reliable commuter options.

Among the electric mobility pioneers, Numeros EV stood out with its growing portfolio of smart electric two-wheelers designed for urban riders. Known for their affordability and sleek design, Numeros bikes cater to India’s rising demand for sustainable, last-mile mobility.

A crowd favorite at the inauguration was Starya, the innovative Indian brand known for converting conventional petrol bikes into electric two-wheelers. Their live demonstrations showed just how accessible and impactful sustainable mobility can be—even without buying a brand-new EV.

Also present was Evice, showcasing edgy urban mobility designs for the next generation of riders, and Numerous, bringing bold design and innovation to India’s expanding auto tech scene.

For those drawn to nostalgia and craftsmanship, the Vintage Cars and Bikes Display offered a beautifully curated walk through automotive history. From classic muscle cars to iconic two-stroke bikes, the section celebrated decades of engineering artistry and design legacy. Auto collectors and heritage fans found themselves immersed in stories of restoration, legacy, and passion.

The event also saw active participation from financial and energy solution providers like HDFC Bank, Union Bank of India, and Bank of Maharashtra were present to guide visitors through auto loan options, insurance products, and EMI solutions

Jio-BP, a joint venture between Reliance and BP, showcased its smart mobility solutions including EV charging infrastructure and connected fuel technology—a key step toward supporting India’s EV growth ecosystem.

With a dynamic opening ceremony, powerful vehicle displays, interactive showcases, and a strong message of sustainability and innovation, the Goa Auto Show 2025 has begun on a high note. As Goa gears up for the next two days of automotive action, the inaugural day has already set the pace—with style and substance.
