PANAJI: Tejan Fallary, Sushil Nayak, Karan Dhavaskar and Anish Kamat have moved into the men’s singles semi-finals, in the State Badminton Ranking Tournament 2021 -22, underway at Indoor Stadium, Campal, here.
The 2-day tournament, organised by Shuttlers Club and Morning Badminton Club in collaboration with Goa Badminton Association and Sports Authority of Goa, is one of the selection tournaments for the Senior Nationals scheduled later this year.
On the opening day, Goa’s top senior players in men’s and women’s category were seen in action competing for the top honours. In women’s singles section, top seed Anjana Kumari and number 2 seed Yasmin Sayed secured their berths in the semi-finals with comfortable wins. Synnovia D’Souza and Janhavi Mahale battled hard to join them in the last four.
