Goa Fire & Emergency Services have safeguarded 398 lives and protected property worth ₹44 crores, revealed Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant in his address on National Fire Service Day, in Panaji on Monday.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services, Goa, stands at the forefront of public safety with state-of-the-art facilities, rapid response mechanisms and trained personnel.

Additionally, the Administrative and Training Block at Fire & Emergency Services, Panaji, is further enhancing operational efficiency and capacity-building.

The department remains dedicated to safeguarding lives and upholding the highest standards of emergency response.

This year’s theme, “Unite to Ignite, a Fire Safe India,” is a powerful call to action — urging every citizen to join hands in building a culture of fire safety, awareness, and preparedness.
