Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant addressed the Goa Open Innovation Challenge 2025 and Market Access Expo in Panaji on Friday. IT Minister Rohan Khaunte was also present.
The Chief Minister met the young innovators and more than 100 startups working on real problems in tourism, agriculture, waste management and other key sectors.
CM emphasised the support being offered through various schemes such as ₹10 lakh startup assistance, ₹15,000 salary support, robotics and coding programmes; and incubation opportunities through elite institutions like Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), who offer 3-day entrepreneurship training programmes like EDP at nominal rates.
