Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant
launched the Goa Police-Yoska App partnership for boosting fitness of Goa Police. The MoU comprises 5000 pro bono training plans worth ₹1.1 Cr; and 3 annual community runs.
The Chief Minister also addressed the valedictory of the Training of Trainers Workshop on the new criminal laws with 65 officers from police, prosecution and forensics.

The Goa Police-Yoska App will promote health and fitness in the state police force, and Dr Sawant highlighted that fitter police means better service to citizens.
“This Bureau of Police Research & Development program has created Master Trainers who will now guide officers across the country, ensuring smooth rollout of the new laws. Best wishes to the Trainers. Together, let’s build a modern, transparent justice system and a fit, efficient police force for Goa,” asserted Dr Sawant.
“The Training of Trainers Workshop on the New Criminal Laws will ensure effective implementation of faster trials, forensic focus and digital integration in justice delivery,” added Dr Sawant.
