Goa has etched its name in the global STEM arena by achieving a milestone at the World STEM & Robotics Olympiad (WSRO) – International Championship 2025–26 in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
Teams from Goa won awards in all three events they participated in, demonstrating excellence across robotics, automation, and algorithmic thinking.
Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant hailed the Goan contingent for their incredible performance.
“I congratulate our talented students and their dedicated mentors for this outstanding achievement at the World STEM & Robotics Olympiad. Winning awards on an international platform is a proud moment for Goa and reflects the growing strength of STEM education in our state.”

The Core Team Member, WSRO, further added: “Building on this momentum, Qurious Mind is proud to announce that we are all set to host the WSRO National Competition in Goa next year.”
