Minister for Empowerment for Persons with Disabilities, Subhash Phal Dessai revealed that the grand stage is set for the International Purple Fest Goa 2025, to be held from 9th to 12th October.
State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Guruprasad Pawaskar, Director, Department of Empowerment for Persons with Disabilities, Varsha Naik, Secretary for Persons with Disabilities, Taha Haziq, Member, Goa State Advisory Board on Disability, Prakash Kamat were also present for the briefing.
MIRAMAR BEACH: ACCESSIBLE BOARDWALK INAUGURATED
Minister for Social Welfare, Subhash Phal Dessai along with Minister for Tourism, Rohan Khaunte inaugurated Accessible Boardwalk at Miramar Beach ahead of International Purple Fest 2025.
The Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) developed this inclusive infrastructure, which will serve as a key highlight for delegates attending the upcoming International Purple Fest 2025, scheduled from October 9th to 12th October, 2025. The initiative has been aimed at providing seamless access for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) to the beach and even into the waters.
