PANAJI: Goan boxing legend Lenny da Gama will officiate at the upcoming Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. He will be leaving for England on 25th July and returning on 10th August, states a press communique.
After officiating at the Tokyo Olympics, both the IBA World Men’s Boxing Championship 2022 in Serbia and IBA World Women’s Boxing Championship 2022 in Istanbul; the Saligao-based international boxing official has now been appointed by IBA and CWG Core Committee to officiate at the Commonwealth Games as an Observer (Jury Chairman), added the press note.
