The National Startup Day 2025 celebration is scheduled to be held on 16th January from 2:30 pm to 7 pm in Panaji. Organised by the Startup & IT Promotion Cell (SITPC) under the Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications (DITE&C), Government of Goa, the event will bring together entrepreneurs, innovators, mentors and stakeholders from the startup ecosystem, creating a platform for learning, networking, and inspiration.
The day will feature workshops and innovative product demonstrations that will empower founders and aspiring entrepreneurs.
The workshops will focus on early-stage product development and MVP (Minimum Viable Product), by Namrata Chawla, Certified Business Coach and Founder of MindMines, who will offer guidance on lean startup methodologies, rapid prototyping, and the use of customer feedback to refine products.
Additionally, a workshop on fundraising will be conducted by Varsha Adusumilli, Co-founder, Kstart, a $10M structured seed fund anchored by Kalaari Capital and Former Founding Vice President, YourStory Media, providing an overview of the funding landscape and equipping participants with strategies to explore financing options effectively.
Participants will also witness live demonstrations of innovative solutions, including an internship and mentor finder app, and the demonstration of a skill assessment tool designed to help startup founders and co-founders better understand their strengths and growth areas.
