Good Governance Week is being observed across the government-run departments in the state of Goa. Various activities are being undertaken as part of the public initiative.
A good governance camp was conducted in Panaji, Tiswadi by the office of SDM Tiswadi. Departments such as DRDA, Agriculture, Revenue, Tribal Welfare participated. Swayampurna Mitras were also present and have been requested to create awareness about the camp through panchayat whatsapp groups and through panch members.
District Magistrate & Collector, South Goa District conducted a camp at the office of Deputy Collector & SDO Mormugao Vasco, as a part of ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’ campaign. South Goa Collectorate has planned camps in all sub-offices to resolve public grievances. Caste certificates, domicile certificates, residence certificates, conversion sanads and sound permission were presented by Deputy Collector & Mamlatdar of Mormugao.
Electoral Roll Observor for Goa, Sandip Jacques, IAS visited South Goa District to listen to the grievances and receive representation from General Public. Collector & District Magistrate South Goa, Egna Cleetus, IAS, & Dy.Collector, South Goa, Velton Tellis were also present.
District Magistrate and Collector, South Goa District conducted a camp at the office of Deputy Collector at Ponda, Canacona and Sanguem.
