With the beaches and nightlife hubs getting overcrowded over the years, the Government of Goa has been putting in concerted efforts to boost Hinterland, Spiritual, Medical and Sports Tourism in the state. The just-launched ‘Homestay and Caravan Policy’ will thus give a fresh impetus to the tourism stakeholders looking to realise Goa’s all-round potential to attract tourists to the land of natural treasure and spiritual bliss.
The ‘Homestay and Caravan Policy’ offers financial assistance, incentives to Homestay owners, and Caravan tour operators.
The ‘Homestay and Caravan Policy’ shall offer more facilities to the tourists and economic opportunities for the locals, particularly to women entrepreneurs.
“I am sure the policy shall enhance the Tourism potential of Goa and enhance income opportunities for the Goans,” asserted the Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant.
