PANAJI: Megastar Chiranjeevi has been named the Indian Film Personality of the Year 2022, during the opening ceremony of IFFI53 here in Goa on Sunday.
Chiranjeevi’s illustrious career spans close to four decades, with over 150 films to his credit as an actor, dancer & producer. He is immensely popular in Telegu Cinema for his incredible heart-touching performances.
Meanwhile, celebrated Spanish film director Carlos Saura has been honoured with Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement award. His daughter Anna Saura accepted the award on behalf of the eminent film-maker during the opening ceremony at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee indoor stadium, Taleigao Plateau.
