Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated workshop on “iGoT Karmayogi and its registration process” for heads of Department at Secretariat, Porvorim.
The Workshop was organised by Department of Personnel, Government of Goa and Goa Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister launched Training, Planning Management Software (TPMS) & also released Prison Recommendation booklet.
Chief Secretary, Dr. V. Candavelou, IAS, Director General, GIPARD, Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, Director GIPARD, Vasudev Shetye, Chief Operating Officer, iGoT India, Rakesh Verma and others were also present.
The Chief Minister emphasised on the significance of the initiative, stating: “This workshop is a major step towards transforming civil services through digital learning and capacity building. With GIPARD as the nodal institute, Goa is committed to onboarding all state government employees on the iGOT platform. We also launched GIPARD’s new Training Management System (TMS), developed with KILA, to digitise and streamline training administration across departments. Together, we are working towards a smarter, future-ready governance system aligned with the vision of a Viksit Goa and a Viksit Bharat.”


About ‘iGOT Karmayogi’:
iGOT Karmayogi is an online learning platform being developed as an integral part of the Digital India stack for capacity building of all government employees. It will provide ‘anytime-anywhere-any device’ learning to train around 2.0 crores users which was so far unachievable through traditional measures.
The platform is envisioned to evolve into a vibrant and world class marketplace for content modelled on FRACs.
Supported by a robust e-learning content industry the content can be curated by individual government ministries or organisations. This can be done either in-house or through knowledge partners. Carefully crafted and vetted content from top-notch institutions, universities, private content providers and individual resources will be made available as training modules.
