Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant emphasised on the importance of skills as a necessary requirement for students to inculcate, in order to become ready for industries of future. He also attributed the change coming through from the primary level, to the pioneering initiative of ‘Mulyavardhan’.
“Every student in Goa should be skilled and job-ready, to facilitate that we have introduced training in Coding, Robotics, Mulyavardhan, and various vocational courses under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan,” remarked the Chief Minister.
Dr Sawant hailed the Mulyavardhan programme in schools, for reaffirming commitment to value-based education.
The Mulyavardhan Programme, in partnership with Shantilal Muttha Foundation, is transforming over 71,900 young minds across 983 primary schools by nurturing values like justice, equality, honesty, and empathy through engaging, activity-based learning.

“With NEP 2020 and NCF 2023 as guiding lights, we are building not just smart schools but a smarter, more compassionate generation,” asserted the Chief Minister.
