The 12th National Convention and Scientific Seminar “Futuro De Cancer” held in Panaji, focussed on strengthening integrative healthcare approaches, with special emphasis on cancer and cardiology. Leading homoeopathy experts, practitioners, and researchers from across the country participated in the national-level academic gathering on Sunday.
The seminar served as a platform for scientific discussions and knowledge exchange, where experts shared clinical experiences, research insights, and emerging trends in homoeopathy. Deliberations highlighted the growing relevance of holistic and patient-centric approaches in modern healthcare, particularly in managing chronic and complex diseases.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju said healthcare is not limited to treatment alone, but is deeply rooted in compassion, empathy, and understanding of the human condition. He noted that homoeopathy represents a system that views each patient as unique, taking into account physical, emotional, and environmental factors.
The Governor emphasised that the future of medicine lies in integration and collaboration among different systems of healing, rather than in isolation. He added that such an approach is especially important in areas like cancer care and cardiology, where patients benefit from supportive and holistic care that improves overall quality of life.
The seminar also featured scientific sessions by renowned homoeopathy experts, including Dr. Farokh Master and Dr. Navin Pawaskar, who shared insights on evolving treatment approaches and the role of integrative medicine in strengthening healthcare outcomes. The discussions encouraged academic exchange and reinforced the importance of continued research and evidence-based practice in homoeopathy.
