National Institute of Technology (NIT) Goa, in association with Cuncolim Police Station, Goa Police, organised the Har Ghar Tiranga Rally on 12th August 2025. The rally commenced from the NIT Goa campus and proceeded to Cuncolim Market, aiming to sensitise the public about the significance of Independence Day and to inspire patriotic spirit among citizens.
The rally was flagged off by Prof. O. R. Jaiswal, Director, NIT Goa. Faculty members, staff, students, security personnel, housekeeping staff, and police personnel of Cuncolim Police Station actively participated in the event, making it a collective effort to promote national unity and pride.
As part of the campaign, all residents and shopkeepers are encouraged to hoist the National Flag at their homes and establishments from 13th to 15th August 2025, in celebration of the 79th Independence Day of India.
