Governor PS Sreedharan Pillai attended the virtual inauguration of the “One Station One Product” stalls at Vasco ,Curchorem-Sanvordem Railway Station; by Prime Minister Narendra Modi under the Ministry of Railways.
The initiative promotes Atmanirbhar Bharat campaign and Vocal For Local vision of the Government of India.
Environment Minister Aleixo Sequeira, Vasco MLA Krishna Daji Salkar , Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar , Rajya Sabha MP Sadanand Shet Tanavade also graced the occasion.
The aim of the scheme is to provide enhanced opportunities for livelihood to local artisans, potters, weavers /handloom weavers, craftsmen etc. through provision of sale outlets at Railway Stations.
