Paarth Salvi of Bardez Taluka Chess Association won the Late Madhav Manohar Dhond Memorial All Goa Open Rapid Chess Tournament 2023 held at Mahalaxmi Devasthan Hall, Panaji. He remained unbeaten with a score of 7.5 points out of 8 rounds.
The tournament was organised by Tiswadi Taluka Chess Association under the auspices of Goa Chess Ad-hoc Committee in collaboration with Mahalaxmi Devasthan.
Mandar Lad finished second with a score of 7 points while Sairudra Nagvekar finished third with 7 points. Other placings from 4th to 15th are as follows: Aryan Raikar, Shekhar Sirsat, Joy Kakodkar, Brendan Peroz, Shivank Kuncolienkar, Ishan Pagi, WCM Gunjal Chopdekar, Sahil Shetty, Sachin Gaude, Mayuresh Desai, Saras Summer Powar, & Avaneeshwar Guin.
