Peppa Pig’s Adventure – Live Theatrical Show was well received in Goa. Quite popular across the major cities of the country, but making its debut in Goa – the one and a half-hour programme also proved to be a great attraction for children in Goa.
One young parent, Dr Ankita Sabnis reviewed the programme based on British animated series, for www.livenewsgoa.com
“As we embarked on a journey into the world of Peppa Pig, we had little going on for us. Being parents to a non-screen trained two year old who only speaks the vernacular language , we were expecting our child to not understand much of the ‘foreign’ tongue. But there’s much to be said about the field of theatre that entraps us all. As soon as the curtains opened up, we were transported into the world of Peppa and her friends as they embark on a camping trip. The characters, although not completely unfamiliar, were refreshing in their honesty.

“The show began with an introduction to the characters for newcomers and further went on to bring in elements familiar to the known viewers such as jumping in muddy puddles, feeding bread to ducks and driving in Daddy Pig’s car.
“The story keeps you engaged through voiceovers, visual effects and interactive play with claps and sing-along songs.

“Peppa and her friends visit a camp site and dance around a camp fire exchanging stories as well singing lullabies and watching night creatures in their natural habitat. It’s an exciting and novel experience for kids who are city-dwellers and would find it highly entertaining as well as educational. The play ends with a personal meet and great with Peppa pig, everyone’s favourite little piggie.
“All children returned home as happy and excited after the play as Peppa Pig and her friends were after the camping trip!”
