‘PONDA NEW GENERATION’ HAND OVER BUNK BEDS TO MAA AASROGHAR ASHRAM

PANAJI: Rotary Club of Ponda New Generation handed over ten ‘Bunk Beds’ to ‘MAA’ Aasroghar Ashram, which cares for destitutes. The Ashram is run by Jeevan Anand Saunstha at Opa-Khandepar.

The Charitable Trust of ‘Ponda New Generation’ conducted the handover at the hands of DG Rtn Gaurish Dhond in the presence of AG Rtn Ashesh Keni, club president Rtn Bharat Malviya, secretary Rtn Ashutosh Khandekar and other Rotarians among others.

MAA’ Aasroghar Ashram works for the welfare of destitutes, physically and mentally challenged, marginalised people on the streets of Goa; by providing them accommodation and nursing their ailments.

Sandeep Parab, Founder-member of Jeevan Anand Saunstha and his team, supported by Rtn Poonam Burye and Rtn Sandesh Burye, have been putting in tireless efforts in service to humanity, according to information provided by sources in the know. “Their motto is to see that no individual is homeless or suffering with illness by the road. (We) hope more help will come from social clubs across Goa to such an NGO,” stated the event note.
